Density Debate - Planning and Zoning Commission Aug 15, 2015

NOTE:   Developers and their advocates on P&Z and Town Council continue to look for ways to increase residential density through re-definition and new definitions that would circumvent  the requirement for the Master Plan Amendment public process for residential density increases.  For example, Mixed Use has been redefined through creative language and legalese which has allowed the Lakeside Business District west of FM2499 to become mainly high density residential and multi-family.   This meeting follows the politically motivated removal  of  one of the new council's  newly appointed, pro-Master Plan ,Planning and Zoning commissioners .
